The responsibilities of a Service Advisor include the following tasks:

  • Make sure you greet clients with courtesy and professionalism to make them feel important.
  • Engage in careful communication and interaction with clients to fully grasp their service requirements.
  • Create service estimates, offer regular upkeep and repair services, and respond to client questions and service requests.
  • Effectively engage and interact with clients, providing clear and appropriate explanations of service specifics and, if required, involving service technicians. Increase consumer knowledge of all offered goods and services.
  • To speed up service delivery, establish cooperative internal and external relationships.
    Make appointments, take phone calls, and respond to inquiries.
  • Help in arranging for other modes of transportation, reservations for rental cars, shuttle services, etc.
  • Maintain high standards for departmental administration, including authorization, warranty claims, job cards, service sheets, and invoicing.
  • Keep a customer database updated with information and contact details.
  • Help the dealership reach and uphold industry norms for service excellence and process efficiency.
  • To guarantee repeat business, cultivate and uphold high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Make that the appropriate CRM system or systems are used to handle consumer concerns.
  • To stay up to date and relevant, maintain and expand your own particular knowledge base.
  • Participate in frequent team meetings to exchange and receive input in the pursuit of ongoing development.
  • Participate in any additional developmental training as well as all pertinent OEM training sessions.

 

Qualifications and Experience
Minimum Qualifications and Experience needed:

  • Matric A valid,
  • unendorsed driver’s license and the capacity to drive legally and competently are prerequisites.
  • knowledgeable about computers
  • It is crucial to understand the regulations and practices of the business.
  • familiarity with the competitive automotive sector.
  • Basic proficiency in mathematics (numeracy)
  • An advantage would be familiarity with the pertinent operating systems.
  • It will be helpful to have prior BMW brand experience.
