JOB OVERVIEW:

Damaged packaging on the line to guarantee continuous conveyor flow. Verify that all stock, damage, and packaging procedures are followed.

DUTIES:

• Packing Line damage to guarantee continuous conveyor flow
• Help ensure that the planned throughput is accomplished in accordance with the shift’s goals.
• Communicate with the operator to ensure proper work flow and make sure that all packaging, damage, and stock procedures are followed.
• Speaking with supervisors about a problem during the shift
• Follow food safety guidelines to reduce product risk.
• Observe all safety guidelines in a responsible manner (PPE, working safely, etc.)
• Five S’s of General Housekeeping
• Respect and adhere to the company’s ideals at all times.
• Help in the manufacturing department when needed
• Help during malfunctions to minimize negative effects on the productivity of the shift

QUALIFICATIONS:

• NQF 4 or Grade 12 or a comparable pertinent qualification is a minimum.
• One to two years of experience in manufacturing
