Duties and Responsibilities 

Fulfilling Telesales Function

  • Within a day, establishes the first phone contact with potential students.
  • Determine if the student satisfies the prerequisites for admission.
  • Provide a different course if the student does not fit the prerequisites.
  • gathers and records student information for the database.
  • records the student’s information in the database.
  • arranges for the student advisors’ (distance) consultations talks in-depth about the course or courses.
  • oversees the Lead to Application conversion rate in accordance with HSR guidelines.
  • answers the questions and concerns of students and prospects.
  • Notifies students of the deadline for registration and applications.
  • completes appointment rescheduling and confirmation calls.
  • fills out SIMS data in order to monitor activity.

General Activities

  • Help the Head of Student Recruitment with any marketing or administrative duties that may be involved.
  • helping the student advisors with post-application duties like paperwork and payment collection.
  • database capture on SIMS.

Competencies required:

  • Both typing and data capture demand a high degree of accuracy.
  • Well talked over the telephone Outstanding administrative
  • and organizational abilities

Minimum Qualification requirements:

  • Matric essential, relevant tertiary qualification is recommended however not essential.

Minimum Work Experience requirements:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years Sales/ Admin/Marketing/Customer experience/ Telemarketing.

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday : 08:00 -17: 00
  • Saturdays 08:00-12:00pm (when required)
