Minimum Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license
- grade 12
- Metro Police did not find any criminal records or evidence of illegal activities.
- Qualification from a school recognized by the Road Traffic Management Corporation (RTMC) that includes:
- finished Metro Police basic training with success and
- obtained a traffic officer diploma and law enforcement skills certificate.
Core Responsibilities:
- Enforce traffic laws to reduce collisions and improve traffic flow and safety throughout the CoE.
- To make everyone’s living conditions safer, carry out crime prevention initiatives inside CoE.
- By-laws are carried out to guarantee adherence and compliance.
- Perform police tasks related to crowd control, VIP protection, and event security.
- Implement Road Safety and Crime Awareness to raise awareness of these issues inside the CoE.
- Responding to complaints and incidences of domestic violence in accordance with the Domestic
- Violence Act Assure and encourage animals’ well-being and efficient use in carrying out police tasks inside the CoE.
- Make ensuring that administrative procedures are functional and efficient.
