Job Description

Record purchase contracts that are received from traders and marketers on the AFGRI system in accordance with agreements that have been reached, and provide daily pricelists to silos.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/TRAINING

  • Grade 12
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Business Administration will be an advantage

REQUIRED MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE

  • 2 years administration experience in an agricultural environment

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

  • Print the deal sheet and make sure it is accurate.
  • After new season pricing are obtained, update the contract. Once printed, send the contract to the client.
  • Make sure you follow up to get signed contracts before the deadline.
  • Update the contract codes and status in the AGRIS system.
  • Documents should be scanned and electronically filed.
  • When clients are turned over for non-payment, provide the management the required documentation.
  • Track the integrations of AGRIS systems.
  • Get the contract ready before the delivery date.
  • manually record the tons transported to the silos that are not AFGRI Reporting of contract non-delivery As per policy, increase or decrease the number of contracts
  • Track deliveries connected to advance payments
  • Get approval and update expense lines in accordance with management
  • Make that every discount complies with the terms of the agreement and the system.
  • Make peace with costlines in the settlement Make sure there are blocks on all advances to avoid paying twice.
  • Make sure the contract is paid correctly at all times, and assist with any necessary modifications.
  • Recover any non-delivery expenses from the client in the event that the client cancels.
  • Forward bad debts to AFGRI Financial Services so they can be collected and monitored.
  • Respond to customer inquiries about payments promptly.
  • Adjust delivery transactions and use the SAFEX file to automatically close.
  • Using SAP, collect new client data and send it to AGRIS Verify the new data’s accuracy Report any new, inaccurate, or missing data.
  • Test data should be compared to the contract season for each commodity.
  • Unsigned, disapproved, and non-delivered contracts should be reported.
  • Determine and disclose commissions for each marketer and product.
  • Assist auditors with paperwork that has been signed.

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE/ COMPETENCIES  

  • proficiency with computers (MS Office)
  • It will be beneficial to have knowledge of agriculture
  • and the AGRIS system.
