Job Description
*Note that preference will be given to equity candidates in line with our goals and targets. * To ensure that the delivery and collection of customers or parts is done in a professional manner. * To check and maintain company vehicles and report any damages. * To follow all road traffic ordinances at all times. * General deliveries of documents to distributors and suppliers.
Specific Role Responsibilities
-ASSIST SERVICE ADVISORS AND RECEPTIONISTS WHEN CALLED UPON IN PROVIDING TRANSPORT FOR CUSTOMERS.
-ASSIST END CONTROLLER IN HIS DUTIES INCLUDING THE MOVING OF CARS IN AND OUT OF INSPECTION AREA, AS AND WHEN REQUIRED.
-MOVE CARS IN AND OUT OF WASH BAYS AS REQUIRED.
-RECOVER BROKEN DOWN VEHICLES WITH THE CARSHOP LDV AND/OR MOBI-JACK AS DIRECTED BY FOREMAN.
-RECORD CORRECT KILOMETERS COVERED BY VEHICLE ON EVERY TRIP IN THE LOG BOOK PROVIDED.
-REPORT ANY FAULTS FOUND ON BREAKDOWN VEHICLE OR MOBI-JACK TO FOREMAN.
-ENSURE THAT VEHICLES ARE DRIVEN SAFELY AND IN A COURTEOUS MANNER.
-REPORT ANY ACCIDENTS TO WORKSHOP FOREMAN.
-CARRY OUT ADDITIONAL REASONABLE DUTIES FROM TIME TO TIME AND AT THE DISCTRETION OF MANAGEMENT.
-ASSIST WASHBAY TO CLEAN CUSTOMER AND BREAKDOWN VEHICLES.-REPORT TO RECEPTION WHEN SENT O
Qualifications and Experience
– 1-2 years experience as a Driver in the Corporate sector- A valid Driver License (Code 08)
