Job Description
The driver will be in charge of making sure that customers or parts are delivered and collected in a professional manner. to always abide by all traffic laws on the road. to inspect, maintain, and report any damage to company vehicles. general document deliveries to suppliers and distributors.Please be aware that, in keeping with our objectives, preference will be given to equity candidates.
Specific Role Responsibilities
- Help receptionists and service advisors when needed to provide customer transportation.
- Help the end controller with his responsibilities, such as assisting with the moving of cars into and out of the inspection area as needed.
- Cars should be moved into and out of wash bays as needed.
- As instructed by the foreman, recover disabled cars using the carshop ldv and/or Mobi-jack.
- Enter the precise number of kilometers driven by the car on each journey in the supplied log book.
- Notify the foreman of any issues you discover with the Mobi-jack or breakdown vehicle. -make certain that cars are driven politely and safely. –
- Notify the workshop foreman of any accidents.
- Perform additional appropriate tasks as needed and at management’s discretion.
- Help the wash bay staff clean customer and broken-down cars.
Qualifications and Experience
- One to two years of corporate driving experience
- and a current driver’s license (Code 08)
