Description
- Assure general safety and security surrounding the aircraft;
- make sure safety laws pertaining to dangerous goods are always followed;
- Communicate with the ground handler and crew to secure passenger boarding clearance;
- Observe the process of loading and unloading freight and baggage;
- Inform the ground handling partner of any modifications to the load;
- Make sure that all handling agents and service providers are available for arrivals in order to provide efficient turnaround times and minimize delays;
- Perform ramp safety audits as needed;
- Make sure the ramp trucks are fueled and clean.
- As needed, pick up and drop off the personnel;
- Keep an eye on flight operations to make sure performance is fulfilled on time;
- Set aside time for delays as needed;
- Help with crew requests, including organizing cleanup services, supplying water, and overseeing restroom facilities;
- make sure all service providers—such as fuel handlers and ACSAs—are present as needed for the trip;
- Perform ad hoc examinations in the baggage division;
- must carry out all tasks assigned by the senior on duty;
- Provide assistance for bulky or heavy objects, like motorized wheelchairs;
- Assure adequate personnel in accordance with SLA;
- Perform checks for foreign object debris, or FOD.
- Report any anomalous flight operations-related activity;
- Organize any operations that are disrupted;
- Keep an eye on the ramp and passenger service KPls (e.g., equipment placement, boarding gate closure time);
- Fill out the ramp agent paperwork for each flight.
- If necessary, compile reports regarding irregularities or events;
- Communicate with several departments and stations;
- work with the appropriate parties to guarantee a timely departure.
Requirements
- 12th grade or above;
- two years or more of experience working in an airline or aviation setting (passenger services, ramp services, or baggage handling);
- Driver’s License Code 08 (Essential);
- no criminal history; possess an understanding of airport operations and airside knowledge;
- abilities in time management, organization, and planning;
- outstanding ability to interact with others;
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities;
- the capacity to solve problems;
- the ability to make decisions;
- the capacity to assign and multitask;
- Customer-focused and computer-literate.
