Job Description

ROLE PURPOSE
To provide front-desk service and support to the customers & visitors

MAIN OUTPUTS
  • Perform front-of-house operational services, such as answering phones, taking messages, and placing calls on behalf of staff.
  • Provide a reception service, which includes greeting guests and guiding them to approved appointments.
  • Take minutes during official meetings, type and distribute them.
  • Receive and record building audit sheet data and file it.
  • Order, process, and deliver necessary stationary for every staff member.
  • Receive and sort mail, and get in touch with recipients for pickup.
  • Communicate with staff members via email regarding office management matters.
  • Provide and carry out administrative functions/support to various business sections.
  • Help with project administration.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
The Applicant must meet the following requirements:
  • Valid South African driver’s license;
  • six months of relevant experience operating a switchboard or in a secretarial capacity;
  • Administration/Reception/Switchboard training;
  • ideally in a customer-oriented environment;
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook;
  • Certificate in Receptionist/Administration/Secretarial Matric (Senior Certificate)
