- Assist patients in accurately filling out the necessary forms, and document all information in accordance with internal policies and procedures.
- Manage all processes pertaining to the patient-reception journey, such as scheduling, arriving, and paying the patient on the relevant system.
- Guide all customers to the proper location, services, and professionals.
- Maintain patient confidentiality at all times in accordance with POPIA.
- Resolve all emergency cases to the nurse’s station in accordance with protocol.
- Help patients with basic account inquiries and escalate as needed.
- Collect all co-payments and account balances in accordance with Intercare policies and procedures.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum requirements: Grade 12.
- Prior experience working in a customer-focused service setting, such as reception, is preferred.
- Computer proficiency is required.
- Knowledge of the GoodX system is also helpful.
