Sales Assistants

To expand their workforce, Crocs Somerset West is seeking a sales assistant. An experienced, cutting-edge global brand in the retail industry is seeking a candidate for the position of Sales Assistant.

Responsibilities:

Customer Service & Sales
• Determine your customers’ needs and utilize your technical expertise to show how your products may meet those demands;

• Respond to every customer in less than 30 seconds;

• Provide exceptional customer care to each and every one of them;

• Close the deal and ensure add-on sales.

Every few hours, compare your daily sales to your own budget.

Inventory
• Process customer orders; ensure stock entries in the POS systems are accurate; ensure that footwear, apparel, and accessories are replenished daily from the storeroom; minimize shrinkage by zoning the store, acknowledging customers, and adhering to the changing room policy; process deliveries by verifying quantities on invoice, tagging, hanging, and pricing product, and recording in the POS System.

Daily Operations
• Ensure store housekeeping is maintained daily including dusting, cleaning mirrors, vacuuming, emptying bins, clearing the counter area and tidying change rooms
• Assist the manager with open and closing the store.

Training
• You are accountable for your own training;

• Make sure you are paired with a partner at first and learn from them;

• Attend quarterly training sessions and finish the exams;

• Make sure your manager provides you with feedback each month;

Merchandising
Keep an eye on the store and make sure that the merchandise presentation follows the store’s guidelines.

Make sure the mannequins and windows are changed every two weeks.

Help the team replace the sizes.

Make sure the POS materials are maintained in a way that prevents damage.

Requirements
• Minimum one year of customer service experience;

• Crocs product knowledge is preferable;

• Grade 12 or equivalent;

• Ability to work flexible shifts
