Responsibilities:

Sales & Customer Service • Determine your customers’ needs and use your technical expertise to show benefits to meet those needs; • Close the sale and secure add-on sales; • Monitor your daily sales against your personal budget every few hours. • Acknowledge every customer within 30 seconds. • Provide excellent customer service to every customer. Inventory: • Restock shoes, clothes, and accessories from the storeroom on a daily basis; • Reduce shrinkage by zoning the store, acknowledging customers, and adhering to the changing room policy; • Verify stock entries in the point-of-sale (POS) systems; • Process deliveries by verifying quantities; • Tag, hang, and price products; and document in the point-of-sale (POS) systems.

Daily Operations: • Help the manager open and close the store. • Ensure that daily store housekeeping is maintained, including dusting, cleaning mirrors, vacuuming, emptying bins, clearing the counter area, and tidying change rooms. Training: You are in charge of your own training. Make sure you are given a buddy at first and learn from them. Attend quarterly training sessions and finish the assessments. Make sure your manager provides you with monthly feedback. Schedule a monthly meeting with your store manager to go over your progress through the Hey Dude rookie pack. These are crucial because they will decide your eligibility for promotions.

Selling • Keep an eye on the store and make sure that the merchandise presentation follows the store’s guidelines. Make sure the mannequins and windows are changed every two weeks. Help the team replace the sizes. Make sure the POS materials are maintained in a way that prevents damage.
