An amazing opportunity exists at Mukuru for an experienced Customer Service Representative to become a part of our Durban team.
Providing professional and effective foreign exchange services is the primary goal of this role.
The Branch Manager receives direct reporting from the Customer Service Representative.
The chosen applicant will be in charge of accurately and competently handling foreign exchange transactions. They must verify the accuracy of the documents supplied and spot any potentially fraudulent ones in order to complete transactions in a way that complies with the law.
Internal liaison is done with the employees of the branches. External customers are engaged in external contact.
Duties and Responsibilities (include but is not limited to):
- Complete foreign exchange transactions with precision.
- Make sure consumers give accurate and legitimate documentation to ensure legal compliance.
- Handle inventory in-house to guarantee precise balancing
- Remain up to date on ICFX system and foreign exchange.
- Maintain the company’s reputation
- Oversee your own professional and personal growth.
Key Requirements:
- Grade 12 or its equivalent (Required)
- The training course for Mukuru Forex Consultants is excellent.
- Remaining up to date and proficient requires completing assignments and examinations (Essential)
- A year of experience as a customer service consultant is required.
- Proficiency in Understanding and Speaking Mandarin (Essential)
- Experience with foreign exchange (Desirable)
- familiarity with foreign currencies
- Understanding of FICA rules
- Understanding of exchange control laws
- familiarity with the ICFX system
