Job Description
ROLE PURPOSE
To provide front-desk service and support to the customers & visitors
MAIN OUTPUTS
- Perform front-of-house operational services, such as answering phones, taking messages, and placing calls on behalf of staff.
- Provide a reception service, which includes greeting guests and guiding them to approved appointments.
- Take minutes during official meetings, type and distribute them.
- Receive and record building audit sheet data and file it.
- Order, process, and deliver necessary stationary for every staff member.
- Receive and sort mail, and get in touch with recipients for pickup.
- Communicate with staff members via email regarding office management matters.
- Provide and carry out administrative functions/support to various business sections.
- Help with project administration.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
The Applicant must meet the following requirements:
- Valid South African driver’s license;
- six months of relevant experience operating a switchboard or in a secretarial capacity;
- Administration/Reception/Switchboard training;
- ideally in a customer-oriented environment;
- Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook;
- Certificate in Receptionist/Administration/Secretarial Matric (Senior Certificate)
