Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
•Collaborate with the supervisor or team leader to meet predetermined operational goals.
•Inspect the assigned sphere of duty each day.
• Tailings material management and planning at the depositing sites.
•Aid in resolving operational difficulties and notify the immediate supervisor of any deviations.
•Following the policies and procedures of the company regarding discipline.
•Follow all safety guidelines in accordance with corporate policies, safety laws, and regulations.
• Pipeline connections and extensions.
•V valves being opened and closed in accordance with operational lines
• Accept accountability for your work.
• Maintain a clean home at all times.
Job Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
Grade 12 or Equivalent
EXPERIENCE
0 – 2 years relevant experience in an earth moving or familiar environment
REQUIREMENTS
Tailings Dam Operation background / experience in the mining or related industry for at least 2 years will be advantageous
SKILLS, QUALITIES AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
• Must be able to comprehend the pertinent SOPs;
• Medically fit to operate in a mining environment;
• Must clear the mine’s criminal background check;
• May occasionally be asked to work overtime
