Specific Role Responsibilities
Key Tasks:

Upon arrival, formally welcome and greet clients.

taking calls Making appointments for clients who are bringing their cars in for maintenance or repairs.

contacting clients to schedule appointments and conduct promotions.

preparing and distributing to pertinent dealership stakeholders the planning list for the booking schedule for the next day.

Pre-print job cards for the appointments the next day.

Make sure all pertinent procedures are followed that have an impact on efficient reservations, after-sales experiences, and outcomes.

Notify customers when components arrive so that they can be fitted.

Make sure that all other pertinent procedures are followed.

As you take care to stay informed about changing information, make sure you give callers accurate information.

Taking calls in an efficient and professional manner, including accurately recording messages and promptly relaying them

 

Qualifications and Experience
Experience Required:

 

2+ years Bookings Clerk experience or Service Reception experience in a corporate, retail motor dealership environment.

Qualifications Required:

 

Senior Certificate (Grade 12)

Other Requirements:

approved driver’s license that is valid

Office suite proficient

and familiar with the DMS system are prerequisites.

Proficiency and Individual Characteristics

English language communication abilities (read, write, and speak).

It is highly desired to be multilingual in other languages that are commonly spoken in the area.
