PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
A stock clerk’s duties include random checks, stock movement reconciliation, discrepancy identification, inquiry investigation, and preserving the accuracy of stock information in order to guarantee correct stock records.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- ensuring correct matching and alignment between the relevant documentation and the stock movements recorded in the system, including purchase orders, transfers in and out, invoices, credits, and write-offs. Checking and balancing the system-recorded stock movements with the real gate activity to make sure the products that are accepted, shipped, or returned match the transactions that have been documented. examining and contrasting the camera footage and the stock movements recorded in the system to confirm the integrity and correctness of the recorded transactions and spot any anomalies or disparities. locating and looking into any disparities or contradictions that may exist between the system logs, the paperwork, gate activity, and the video footage; performing root cause analysis; and taking the appropriate steps to reconcile and rectify the disparities. keeping thorough records and recording them
- Maintain a missing and unsigned invoice register and ensure the timeous obtaining of POD’s that do not meet the necessary requirements Update records accordingly.

Ensuring accurate stock records and inventory control by conducting stock recounts as needed to verify and address any disparities or inconsistencies found throughout the reconciliation process. locating and fixing any mistakes or discrepancies in stock reconciliations, guaranteeing precise alignment between system records and physical stock counts ensuring appropriate comprehension and resolution by promptly informing the appropriate parties—warehouse teams, inventory control, and management, for example—of any stock adjustments, corrections, or disparities. utilizing camera footage to generate thorough reports of all outgoing movements, guaranteeing precise and thorough documentation of stock actions. examining and resolving questions or disparities by comparing video information from cameras with

Job Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
a Matric certificate from grade 12 or an equivalent certification.
shown experience in logistics and warehousing for a minimum of two years.
