REQUIREMENTS:

  • One to two years of experience in a financial management setting, together with a senior certificate or matriculation certificate, will be advantageous. Skills Profile: Proficiency in interpretation.

DUTIES:

  • Efficient revenue collection through line controls and systems.
  • (Note names and surnames, residence, next of kin contact information, and medical aid number if patient is enrolled in a medical assistance program.
  • Sort patients into groups based on their income levels.
  • Cash payment for outpatients; provide a receipt for money received. monitoring of all unpaid patient accounts, even those with medical assistance. Record receipts in the BAS.
  • revenue reconciliation between the billing system and the BAS.
  • (Tally money obtained for deposits into banks.) Reconcile and clean up patient records in the system.
  • Provide timely reporting to oversight agencies and correct billing (-Reconcile printouts of payments to clear patient debt). Offer assistance for maintaining records.

  • As needed, carry out clerical and administrative tasks.
