DUTIES:
- Efficient revenue collection through line controls and systems.
- (Note names and surnames, residence, next of kin contact information, and medical aid number if patient is enrolled in a medical assistance program.
- Sort patients into groups based on their income levels.
- Cash payment for outpatients; provide a receipt for money received. monitoring of all unpaid patient accounts, even those with medical assistance. Record receipts in the BAS.
- revenue reconciliation between the billing system and the BAS.
- (Tally money obtained for deposits into banks.) Reconcile and clean up patient records in the system.
- Provide timely reporting to oversight agencies and correct billing (-Reconcile printouts of payments to clear patient debt). Offer assistance for maintaining records.
