Key Responsibilities:
Including but not limited to:
Purchase Order Management:
- Weekly Supplier Order book alignment and management, inclusive of pumps and aftermarket sales requirement.
- Process requisitions and update management on status of orders.
Supplier Coordination and communication
- Use COUPA to communicate change requirements to suppliers.
- Oversee the quotation process, lead times, and requests for price increases.
- Oversee and keep an eye on the supplier’s OTD.
- Use COUPA change requests to manage the supplier (delivery dates, pricing modifications).
Supplier Performance and Data Management:
- Create and manage matrices to measure supplier performance( OTD, Backlog)
- Manage supplier deliveries
Subcontracting and Special Projects, Pumps slotting
- Manage subcontracting activities.
- Handle special projects as needed to support overall supply chain efficiency.
- Attendance and management of Slotting Room Procurement requirements

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
· Any equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered for candidates that have the ability to perform the objectives above.
·
- National Diploma in Purchasing or its equivalent,
- or a Matric or Grade 12 certificate Proficiency in Microsoft Office,
- advanced Excel, and SAP CIPS qualification is advantageous,
- as is at least three to five years of purchasing experience in an engineering or manufacturing setting.
- Technical expertise and experience will be beneficial.
- The Bill of Materials (BOM), MRP logic, and its effect on order formation.
