REQUIREMENTS:
- A SAQA-recognized NQF level 6 qualification in law, public management, public administration, policing, criminology, forensics, or criminal justice.
- fundamental knowledge of the Immigration Act and the Refugee Act.
- familiarity with the pertinent departmental and public service legislative frameworks. a current driver’s license (EC code).
- a current PDP (public driver’s permit). a readiness to work long hours and travel.
- Competencies and abilities needed: client-centeredness and client orientation.

DUTIES:
- Among other things, the chosen applicants will be in charge of the following particular duties: Implement immigration services, procedures, and compliance in accordance with other departmental legislation and the modified Immigration Act No. 13 of 2002.
- Effective implementation of the modified Immigration Act 13 of 2002 Find, track down, arrest, and prosecute foreign nationals who are not authorized to be in the country.
- Assist with anti-corruption cases and law enforcement investigations.
- Look into any violations of the Refugee Act of 1998 and the Immigration Act of 2002.
- Keep an eye on the number of foreign nationals living in the nation without proper papers.
- Maintain records of foreigners in the nation, both legal and illegal, and carry out deportation procedures.
- Preserve, care for, and oversee state assets and property. Put policies and processes into action. Assure efficient and successful administration
