REQUIREMENTS:
- A DHA or NQF Level 5 qualification Qualification: SAQA-recognized Home Affairs Services at NQF level 5.
- Basic comprehension of all Departmental legislation and prescripts.
- Basic grasp of the public service Regulatory Framework.
- fundamental understanding of the Batho Pele Principles.
- Having a driver’s license will be beneficial.

DUTIES:
The successful candidates will be responsible for, amongst others, the following specific tasks:
- Provide consumers with birth registration services.
- Get birth announcements and all other accompanying documentation.
- Verify online.
- Compile the National Population Register’s applications.
- Assist customers with death registration.
- Make sure that assets, face value documents, stamps, and other items are kept safe and protected.
- Keep track of birth occurrences in relation to registered births.
- Keep track of and document instances of overseas births.
- Report every danger in accordance with the necessary protocols.
- Assure compliance and sound governance.
- Deliver professional and timely client service.
