Salary: R 149 028.00 pa – R 163 260.00 pa (Level 13 of a Grade 04 Local Authority) Total package inclusive of all benefits: R 277 497.44 pa
REQUIREMENTS:
- Grades 10–12 (with an added bonus).
- A valid driver’s license is an added benefit.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills (needs to be multilingual).
- the capacity to carry out and adhere to instructions.
- Good physical health, fundamental abilities, and familiarity with manual labor.
- a diligent, disciplined individual.
- One year of relevant experience in general work connected to the Local Government Authority’s Electrical Section.
DUTIES:
- In charge of using safety tools and gloves to load and unload the section’s supplies and machinery.
- Post signs alerting drivers to the presence of workers along municipal roads while excavation is underway.
- Using a broom and other manual labor tools, clean the working area of duty and the surrounding area to maintain a clean atmosphere.
- Perform any labor-related tasks as directed by the section superintendent or supervisor.
- following all legal directives from the supervisor in order to guarantee section efficiency and productivity.
- Complete any other relevant ad hoc activities and responsibilities as occasionally asked or mandated by management (supervisor).
