Duties & Responsibilities

  • to place orders for supplies and items in order to maintain maximum and minimum stock levels.
  • to communicate with top managers on the purchase of items that do not fit within the predetermined budget.
  • to only place orders with authorized vendors; if an item is only available through a different source, authorization must be obtained before placing the order.
  • To guarantee that the items are of the quality, quantity, and agreed-upon pricing that were ordered to guarantee the timely and accurate completion of all delivery-related administration.
  • must finish all paperwork and take appropriate action in the event of poor delivery, overpricing, or non-delivery.

Qualifications

  • A finance certificate or other appropriate certification is required.
