FUNCTIONAL OUTPUTS
- In charge of employing the flux core method and other welding techniques to weld mining equipment.
- In charge of ensuring that welding equipment is operated safely Using oxy-fuel gas cutting equipment,
- cut and pre-heat materials while adhering to gas safety regulations.
- Help operate lifting equipment and overhead cranes in accordance with safe work practices.
- Accurately complete the job-specific tasks and checklist.
- Visual examination of the workplace to make sure safety regulations are followed and to report any hazardous situations to the superior.
- application of COPs and SOPs tailored to a certain work to guarantee adherence to housekeeping requirements.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
- Grade 12/N3/NCV Level 4 or Above
- (Preferential in Math and Science)
- Minimum code for a driver’s license is 08
- Capable of obtaining a medical fitness certificate
- Certificate of First Aid (Wish)
Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
- 12 months of experience in welding
- Capacity to operate an angel grinder safely
- Proficiency in using a cutting torch familiarity with subterranean equipment,
- such as feeder/feeder breakers, roof bolters, shuttle cars, and crushers
- Plant experience for a year (Wish)
- Knowledge on how to use MIG welding equipment (Wish)
Functional / Technical:
Knowledge and skills of the following:
