Responsibilities:
-Professionally and enthusiastically greeting customers and providing excellent customer service
– Demonstrating a deep understanding of the objects and their characteristics
-Giving customers complete and accurate information so they can make informed purchases
-Helping customers find the appropriate outdoor clothing and gear for their unique needs
-Managing money transactions accurately and running the point-of-sale system effectively
-Maintaining a pristine and orderly sales floor, which involves stocking shelves and arranging merchandise
-Collaborating with the group to meet sales and store objectives
-Using effective problem-solving strategies and compassion to address concerns, questions, and grievances from clients
-Staying current with product knowledge and market advancements to provide excellent customer service
Requirements:
-Completion of Grade 12 or an equivalent qualification
-Previous work experience in a retail or sales setting is advantageous.
-Superb interpersonal and verbal communication skills
-A genuine appreciation of the great outdoors and in-depth familiarity with the wide range of outdoor activities
-The ability to function both alone and cooperatively
-Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service abilities
-Self-driven, aggressive, and exhibiting a strong work ethic
-The capacity to function in a demanding environment and adapt to changing circumstances
