REQUIREMENTS:

• NQF Levels 1 or 2 (Certificate of Abet Level 2 or similar).
• good communication skills both in writing and speaking.
• the capacity to write and read.
• Good interpersonal skills are a must.
• Having experience with cleaning equipment will be beneficial.

DUTIES:

• Make sure the health facility is kept spotless in all areas, especially the parts that are important.
• Every task assigned is completed, and resources are used effectively.
• Make sure personnel follow the policies and procedures for infection prevention and control.
• Maintain and regulate the use of supplies, machinery, and consumables;
• keep an eye on and notify the supervisor of any absenteeism;
• Encourage health and safety actively, and notify the supervisor right away of any violations.
• Need to be ready for nights, weekends, public holidays, and work clothes.
