Job Description

Mercedes-Benz We are pleased to announce a position available for a Warranty Clerk at The Glen Passenger Cars. The chosen applicant will work under the direction of the service manager and be responsible for processing job cards in accordance with company policies and procedures and managing warranty claims accurately and promptly.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compute work card costs accurately and in accordance with corporate guidelines.
  • Orders, outwork invoices, and invoices should all match the corresponding job cards.
  • Perform all computations with accurate markups.
  • Pay off all of your debts to debtors beforehand.
  • Check to make sure the owner has signed the repair orders.
  • Verify the completeness of the technicians’ work records.
  • Check the technicians’ recorded clock times.
  • Verify the parts department’s confirmation of the parts given, which is attested to by the service advisor.
  • Manage the markup and invoicing procedures. As per company policy, handle warranty claims truthfully and quickly.
  • Compile and verify all warranty claim data pertaining to customer grievances and malfunctions.
  • Fasten claim tags on components and send them out right away.
  • Examine the suspense file every day.
  • Track claim statuses and submit management reports.
  • Keep track of claims and confirm that payments have been received.
  • Determine whether a car qualifies for warranty work.
  • Verify that technicians have properly marked and stowed all warranty parts.
  • File warranty claims in line with the distributor’s instructions.
  • Help with any other reasonable tasks that are needed.
  • Attend the distributor’s offered training sessions..

 

Position Overview:
The warranty clerk is in charge of making sure that costing job cards are processed accurately and that warranty claims are submitted on schedule. Submissions to the MBSA, pre-pricing and costing of task cards, billing, and Eskulabs follow-up are among the duties.

 

Qualifications and Experience

  • Grade 12 at the very least.
  • It is necessary to have experience in the motor sector.
