Purpose of the Job:
You will be in charge of carrying out operational tasks as an Operator at Engen Limited utilizing plant resources and equipment connected to the blending or filling process at LOBP. Following the company’s rules, processes, and relevant standard operating procedures will be part of your job.
What You’ll Have Done Before:
Baseline:
- Grade 12/N3 Engineering Certificate,
- NQF Level 4 A year of experience working in a manufacturing setting
Advantageous:
- Science and Mathematics,
- 12th Grade License for Forklifts
- Two years of blending and filling operations experience proficiency with computers
- Capacity to handle simple equipment maintenance
What You’ll Be Doing:
ensuring that the blending and filling tasks associated with daily production operations are carried out efficiently in accordance with the daily production plans and the resources allotted by the team leader.
Reaching optimal resource utilization for daily throughput rates.
carrying out activities related to machine adjustment, first-line maintenance, and basic cleaning. driving forklifts, palletizing, and manually labeling products.
measuring and submerging tanks as needed. accurately filling out the necessary paperwork and records pertaining to your workspace.
use appropriate sampling technique and frequency in all of your sampling endeavors.

recognizing and disclosing risky labor practices, accidents, and near-misses.
taking part in talks about root cause analysis in your field.
