MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
To perform maintenance on building and equipment,and ensure that assets are upheld to their original state
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
- carry out the technical tasks that the hospital requests.
- Determine and manage the risks in the hospital’s technical environment.
- Organize and oversee the hospital’s on-site contractors’ work.
- carry out office management tasks at the Technical Department.
- Create and preserve customer service and stakeholder relationships in the technical department.
REQUIRED EDUCATION
ESSENTIAL EDUCATION:
Grade 10/ equivalent technical vocational qualification
DESIRED EDUCATION:
- Basic Technical Assistant
- Training (Mediclinic) or any other relevant technical training,
- along with a Grade 12
- Code B driver’s license
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
3-5 years’ experience in general building maintenance
DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
1 year experience in general building maintenance
REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- A driver’s license expertise in identifying and analyzing faults
- Report writing experience, teamwork experience,
- and general building maintenance experience
- The Occupational Health and Safety Act
