Job Description

A target-driven and motivated Tele-salesman is needed to join the Johannesburg branch of Alert Engine Parts.The role’s objectives are to consistently achieve high levels of customer satisfaction and satisfy all sales targets. The chosen applicant would require strong interpersonal and negotiating abilities.

Key Performance Indicators will include, but not limited to;

  1. Oversee counter and customer sales and make sure that maximum customer potential is realized.
  2. Reach the sales goal that the sales, branch, or retail manager has established. Prepare, forecast, and report on possible sales by customer.
  3. Report any pricing and actions taken by competitors.
  4. Report any and all client inquiries about delivery, telesales, and account issues.
  5. Reach revenue goals and make sure that expanding your clientele and gaining market share within your sphere of influence bring in new business.
  6. Develop and fortify your ties with customers.
  7. Answer incoming sales enquiries from customers
  8. Provide quotes and details about your goods and services.
  9. When responding to incoming inquiries, offer assistance and information about costs.
  10. Help the other departments (Accounts, Despatch, Warehousing, Receiving, and Technical) to guarantee that there is little consumer inquiries within the organization.

Requirements

  • Matric
  • Five years of minimum experience in a sales parts setting is necessary.
  • extensive background handling customer demands in a sales environment.
  • thorough familiarity with the responsibilities’ geographic area.
  • Having technical experience would be beneficial.
  • Play well with others in a team.
  • A certain level of business acumen, including knowledge of customer service delivery costs and breakeven scenarios
  • Must be capable of performing their duties with minimal guidance.
  • Strong time-management and planning abilities
  • no criminal history
