Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible to support the Paediatric and Adolescent community project, through data management and project administration.

Key duties and responsibilities:

Data Capturing and entry

  • Gather and arrange information into pertinent data tools as needed for the project.
  • Distribute and gather pertinent data from project personnel.
  • Fix all data inaccuracies as soon as possible.

Data storage

  • File and store client data correctly
  • Ensure data is protected by limiting access to approved persons

Data quality assurance and use

  • Make that the HTS linkage tracker is up to current and contains accurate information.
  • Utilize data to guide the team’s activity planning
  • Encourage initiatives related to data quality assurance.

Project administration/ storage

  • Support the project manager and team members in administrative tasks, including liaising with staff, minute taking and distribution, preparing/printing/collating documents/tools, meeting administration, distribution of project materials.

Project Support and Reporting

  • Ensure reporting takes place daily/weekly/monthly as required

Minimum qualifications and experience:

  • The bare minimum is an exemption from matriculation; a postsecondary degree would be helpful.
  • Capturing and gathering data
  • One year of administrative experience or M&E computer experience, with a focus on Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
  • expertise in assisting with M&E strategies
  • Knowledge of DHIS, TIER.Net, and clinical stationery
  • Become acquainted with South Africa’s health information and interact with facility personnel in public-sector facilities.
  • Quick and precise data entry and capture abilities.
  • outstanding organizational and administrative abilities.

  • Need to be able to operate both individually and collaboratively.
  • the capacity to oversee relationships.
  • Excellent organizational abilities, including the capacity to multitask, set priorities, manage time and tasks, meet deadlines, and function independently of daily supervision.
