Key Duties & Responsibilities
To execute the activities within the warehouse according to the issued plan within the required operational efficiency standards.
• Make sure that all trucks and trailers are loaded completely and on schedule in accordance with the provided plan;
• Make sure that all SKUs are in compliance with the model stock layout;
• Make sure that stock is removed from the production lines so that production is not disrupted by the availability of forklifts;
• Make sure loads are picked precisely and on time;
• Adhere to housekeeping standards;
• Respect processes;
• Achieve personal operational efficiency standards;
• Take care of assets in accordance with standard operational practices;
• Respect relevant stock management procedures, such as daily inventory counts;
• Make sure pallets are stretch wrapped in accordance with standard
Skills, Experience & Education
- Proficiency in English (either as the primary language or as a first language acquired) is required for Grade 12/Matric Math.
- Clear credit and criminal records;
- six to twelve months of relevant warehouse experience (load-making and forklift operation);
- a valid forklift driver’s license is a benefit;
- and the ability to work overtime and shifts
