JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Grade 12 or a comparable qualification
- Basic Understanding of Horticulture, Arboriculture, and Landscaping a track record of safely utilizing large trucks or tractors to move groups or individuals.
- Understanding of SHEQ regulations
- One year of supervisory experience in the field of horticulture or arboriculture Valid PDP & Valid SA driver’s license code 10.
- Driver’s license with code 14—an additional benefit
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
- to oversee the teams in order to ensure that the necessary tasks are completed in accordance with SOPs.
- As directed by the senior horticulturist and arborist, coordinate the completion of job cards, taking into account customer complaints and planned maintenance.
- Help the horticulturist/senior arborist with inspections.
- Assist the Senior Horticulturist/Arboriculturist and monitor daily grievances and inquiries from all parties involved.
- Verify that the equipment is operational before bringing it to the job location.
- Cooperate well with the group to guarantee that the necessary tasks are completed.
- Report any infrastructural problems as well as on-site safety and environmental hazards.
- Report team performance and job card status to the Senior Arboriculturist/Horticulturist.
- When performing work, abide with JCPZ policies and SHE-Q criteria.
