Warehouse Assistant (JHB)

• Transfer supplies and inventory between locations;
• prepare inventory for delivery;
• Inventory should be sorted, arranged, and stored appropriately.
• Properly label and package the items.
• Inform supervisors of any missing or damaged inventory;
• Arrange and stack bulky materials;
• Update inventory processing records and documentation;
• oversee and carry out regular cleaning duties in the warehouse;
• Keep an eye on and oversee inventory control;
• Maintain high standards of quality for audits and carry out warehouse inventory controls;
• Use extreme caution when handling sensitive and delicate items to prevent harm;
• manage a warehouse in accordance with SOPs by handling and using the tools and accessories required;
• Observe excellent service standards and abide by policies, guidelines, and directives;
• Conduct cycle counts every day and collaborate with the inventory clerk to address any inconsistencies..

• Grade 12 or above (Necessary);
• certification in warehouse training (Beneficial);
• certification in the packing of hazardous materials and aircraft replacement parts (Beneficial);
• 1-2 years of essential experience in administration in a mid-sized organization;
• a willingness to put in extra hours when needed;
• Willingness to work around the clock (essential);
• familiarity with warehousing standards;
• favorable familiarity with the ERP system;
• Outstanding writing and verbal communication abilities; multitasking ability.
