Our selection of commercial and personal insurance options covers a variety of topics, such as general liability, pet insurance, mobility aids, auto insurance, and professional indemnity. With the solid backing of Badger Holdings SA, our parent business, we keep pushing forward in providing our clients with reliable, high-quality insurance products that have full international endorsement. We are seeking to add a new Sales Consultant to our George, Western Cape, call center.

 

What are the duties and responsibilities?

  • Handle incoming and/or outgoing phone conversations with the goal of selling or servicing insurance products.
  • Within the allotted time frames, deliver exceptional, precise, and trustworthy information and services via written and spoken communication.
  • Recognize and apply underwriting rules to reject policies that, when appropriate, exceed risk appetite.
  • When appropriate, use sales strategies to close deals. adherence to all pertinent Pacific Policies and Procedures, including duties assigned to certain roles.
  • As instructed by your boss, perform additional tasks that are within the purview of your knowledge, expertise, experience, and/or training.

Working hours:

  • Mondays to Fridays: 04h00AM – 11h00AM
  • We offer a transport service to the office in the mornings.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • completed the National Senior Certificate and Grade 12.
  • advanced English communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • computer proficiency at an intermediate level.
  • prior experience working in a sales- or customer-focused role.
  • strong administrative, organizational, and attention to detail abilities.
