Job Description
PURPOSE
To ensure that all planned operational targets for deposition of tailings are met as per contractual obligation in time and good quality.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with the supervisor or team leader to meet the predetermined operational goals.
Conduct daily inspections in the assigned sphere of duty.
Tailings material planning and management for both the depositing area and the site.
Assist in resolving operational obstacles and notify the immediate supervisor of any deviations.following the policies and procedures of the company regarding discipline.
Respect all safety laws and corporate policies by abiding by all safety rules and regulations.
pipeline expansion and connection. Valves are opened and closed in accordance with operational lines.
Job Requirements
QUALIFICATION
Grade 12 Certificate / or equivalent
REQUIREMENTS
Tailings Dam Operation background / experience in the mining or related industry for at least 2 years will be advantageous
SKILLS, QUALITIES AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
Effective verbal and textual communication

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
Understanding of the pertinent Standard Operating
Procedures is required.
Must be cleared by the mine’s criminal screening procedure and be medically competent to work in a mining setting
Fit for Medicine Maybe needed to put up extra hours on occasion
