REQUIREMENTS:
- NQF level 2 (5 years of related experience, or a certificate equivalent to a grade 10).
- A valid operating certificate and driver’s license (Code EC).
- the capacity to use machinery, strong communication abilities.
DUTIES:
- Using specialized machinery for loading and unloading.
- Examine, maintain, and record equipment flaws.
- Maintain a logbook of all the cars and equipment you use, make sure safety precautions are taken, clean and lubricate the machinery, grade gravel roads, and perform shoulder and repaving.
- Transporting work teams, supplies, and equipment; identifying and fixing small technical issues with the cars and arranging for their maintenance (inspecting the water, oil, and fuel levels, as well as the tires and condition).
