X7 DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH: HOSPITAL CLEANER

Location: Far East Rand Hospital
Job Type Classification: Permanent

Salary: R10 448 per month (plus benefits)

 

REQUIREMENTS:

• ABT certificate or grade 10;
• no prior experience is necessary.
• familiarity with workplace protocols, including cleaning supplies and workspace layout. Skills:
• The capacity to carry out daily tasks and uphold fundamental interpersonal interactions;
• basic literacy and numeracy; effective communication; and sound human relations.
• Must be able to communicate with stakeholders, perform well under duress, and lead a team.
• Must be prepared to work physically, work in shift rotations, and use protective gear as required by law.

DUTIES:

• Floors are mopped, windows, doors, toilets, bed frames, stairs, floor stripped, and the refrigerator cleaned.
• cleaning the window seal and any furniture.
• carrying out all assigned cleaning tasks, both indoors and outside.
• Utilize the provided cleaning tools, such as the polisher machine.
• Use the appropriate chemicals as needed.
• Help with additional tasks as directed by the supervisor.
