Job Purpose

The purpose of this role is to maintain Regional Corporate Real Estate (CRE) buildings and facilities by ensuring that all cleaning, food service, and basic facility support functions are executed according to agreed quality standards. The role contributes to a professional working environment by supporting meetings, maintaining hygiene standards, and ensuring facilities are properly serviced on a daily basis.


Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

  • Basic literacy (ability to read, write, and understand instructions)
  • Prior experience in cleaning, food service, or office support will be an advantage
  • Ability to follow procedures, schedules, and hygiene standards

Key Job Outputs and Responsibilities

Food and Beverage Services (Meetings & Functions)

  • Assist with arrangements for official meetings by preparing and serving tea, coffee, and refreshments
  • Ensure conference rooms have clean water, glasses, cups, and bottled water
  • Prepare serving utensils, beverages, and food prior to meetings
  • Serve refreshments on time in accordance with meeting schedules
  • Clear tables and wash dishes after meetings or events
  • Maintain cleanliness of:
    • Kitchen counters
    • Cupboards
    • Refrigerators
    • Microwaves
  • Wash dishcloths and ensure hygienic storage of cleaning items

Kitchen Stock and Inventory Control

  • Assist with ordering and requisitioning kitchen stock
  • Receive and unpack delivered stock
  • Monitor stock levels of:
    • Coffee
    • Tea
    • Milk
    • Sugar
    • Cleaning materials
  • Notify the responsible person when stock levels run low
  • Store items safely to prevent spoilage, waste, or contamination

Cleaning and Hygiene Duties

  • Perform cleaning duties according to required quality standards and schedules
  • Clean offices, kitchens, bathrooms, and common areas
  • Ensure hygiene standards are consistently met
  • Dispose of waste responsibly
  • Apply “clean as you work” principles

Operational Support and Planning

  • Plan and organise own daily tasks efficiently
  • Communicate progress on work requests and tasks
  • Report completed tasks daily to support decision‑making
  • Resolve routine problems and escalate issues when necessary
