Minimum Requirements:
Essential:
- Driver’s License Code 10 Professional Driving Permit (PDP)
- Grade 12 / Matric S.A.
- two years of experience operating a vehicle in a logistics,
- supply chain,
- or distribution setting
Job Description:
- Make sure the necessary items are delivered quickly, precisely, in excellent order, and in good condition to the right consumer.
- Make sure the correct products are delivered at the appropriate time to the appropriate store or client.
- Follow the loading and unloading policies and procedures for stores and/or warehouses.
- Make sure that every TU specified on the truck manifest has been accurately and correctly offloaded at the store.
- Make certain that every collection, store return, and inter-branch item is accurately inspected, signed for, and sent back to the dispatch location.
- Make sure that recyclable plastic and cardboard, totes, and empty pallets are loaded and recorded appropriately.
- Verify that all DLSs and trip sheets submitted to store management are accurate and have been signed.
- Aim to represent the company in a professional manner and follow the guidelines regarding the company uniform.
