REQUIREMENTS
- A valid driver’s license, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work in a bilingual environment are required.
- Candidates who live in the Midvaal area will be given preference.
- Candidates must also meet the post’s operational requirements.
- A hardworking and disciplined individual.
- One year of relevant experience in a general work capacity within a purification/waste water treatment works section within a Local Government Authority will be an added advantage.
DUTIES
– Use protective gloves and safety equipment when loading and unloading section materials and equipment.
– Post signs warning on nearby municipal roads to warn onlookers about workers during excavation work.
– Use a broom and other manual labor equipment tools to clean the area around the work area and maintain a clean environment.
– Complete any labor-related tasks as requested by the supervisor or the section superintendent.
– Follow all legal instructions from the supervisor to ensure productivity and smooth operation of the section.
– Complete any additional related Ad Hoc tasks and duties as needed or requested by management (supervisor) from time to time.
