KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
- Get replacement parts from retailers and use them for repairs.
- As per the job card, request spare components; make sure no spares are used needlessly.
- Record impromptu fixes on an offline task card.
- Reduce upkeep, which has costly consequences that are wasteful.
- Gather defective equipment and find mechanical issues
- Repair equipment in accordance with work instructions, within daily requirements, and by the deadlines and standards established.
- Complete the job cards and sign them before submitting them to the supervisor.
- Fill out time sheets every day and every week.
- Make sure that the required quality standards are upheld.
- Maintain things proactively Inform the supervisor of any flaws.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- GRADE 10 minimum, or NQF equivalent
- Driver’s license with code EB or above (a benefit) English Language
- Ability one to two years of experience working in a workshop for repairs
- Competency Course for Brush Cutters and Lawnmowers Computer Courses;
- Inventory, Fleet, Administration.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Understanding of mechanics and repairing machinery (slashers, brush cutters, and ride-ons)
- Inventory Control Understanding and utilizing SHEQ guidelines and criteria
- Mechanical and plant knowledge JCPZ framework for policies and procedures
- Stakeholder analysis, strategy, and mandate of JCPZ Honesty
- and integrity, social skills and collaboration, originality and creativity, and resilience
- Outcomes focus, dependability, and problem-solving skills, conformity to JCPZ standards.
