Description:
Hyundai Automotive S.A. invites applications for a 1st-year Apprentice to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. The selected candidate will be involved in various aspects of motor mechanics, including but not limited to:
- removal, refurbishing, and replacement of the cylinder head.
- removing, cleaning, fixing, and reassembling engine blocks from their component parts.
- identification and substitution of fuel system parts.
- knowledge of fundamental electronics and testing of ignition system parts.
- study of forced charging systems and engine efficiency principles.
- Electrical component removal, testing, repair, and replacement.
- Removal and replacement of clutch and transmission parts.
- diagnostic and repair of the brake system and its components.
Role Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a range of motor mechanics tasks, as outlined in the job description.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Matric with a science
- and math concentration. N1–N4 eligibility.
Skills and Personal Attributes:
- strong ability to communicate.
- sincere enthusiasm for automotive mechanics.
