Short Description / Purpose of Job
To produce cast boosters by melting and mixing explosives to create a pentolite cast booster.
Recruitment Description / Key Accountabilities
To make pentolite cast boosters, two main ingredients (TNT and PETN) must be melted, combined in a specific ratio, and then poured into forms.
Use a formula to determine the mixing ratio.
The amount of events that must occur to achieve accurate mixing (control temperatures, mix speeds, cooling duration).

Quality control, packaging, final product labeling, and scanning. Set production records.
to properly shut down at the end of the week or as needed, and to properly start up before the start of the shift.
Formal Education
Grade 12 (Maths and Science will be an added advantage)
Min Experience
3 months+ relevant explosives manufacturing experience (Booster Plant experience will be an added advantage.
