To add to our vibrant team, South African Breweries (SAB) is looking for a Packaging Operator. To ensure maximum performance, the primary goal of this function is to properly run and maintain specified packaging equipment and related procedures.

 

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

 

– Running machinery and overseeing related procedures and packing performance.

– Determining and carrying out the shift’s production strategy.

– Running both automatic and manual machinery in accordance with requirements.

– Ensuring productivity and process quality. Making certain food safety and cleanliness are followed.

– Carrying out administrative tasks include keeping track of and monitoring procedures and acting as needed.

Overseeing PIMS and POMS and acting to redress unfavorable tendencies.

Applying OFRs (according to triggers).

– Making mandatory contributions to AB reports.

-Maintaining a healthy and safe working environment.

 

Minimum Requirements:

 

– A Grade 12 diploma.

At least nine months of on-the-job training and SKAP completion within a year

Work experience in the FMCG packaging sector.
