Handyman

ROLE PURPOSE

To carry out timeous and quality planned, preventive and emergency maintenance on all specified equipment.

MAIN OUTPUTS

• Complete tasks in accordance with job cards (work orders) issued, in accordance with client and company requirements.
• Conduct investigations, evaluations, and restorations on equipment malfunction identified.
• Perform office movement related tasks, including but not limited to furniture installation, shop fitting, door, lock, handle, and window repair; replace ceiling and carpet tiles; general paint work.
• Perform minor repairs and service on all plumbing related equipment as per SLA. Conduct tier 1 inspections and repairs on all air-condition related equipment.
• Conduct inspections and report back on all fire & access equipment, including fire-extinguishers, hose reels, fire-hydrants, fire-detectors, and access control equipment Assist in these areas.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS / KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

The Applicant must meet the following requirements:

• 3 years of relevant experience in handyman maintenance chores;
• N3 Technical (Electrical/Mechanical) Matric (Senior Certificate);
• Valid SA Drivers License;
• Basic instruction on hand tools, electrical and mechanical equipment;
• Knowledge of OHS Act & ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems
