π MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must meet the following requirements:
β’ Grade 12 / Matric certificate or equivalent qualification
β’ Qualification in Public Management, Business Management, Office Management or related field will be an added advantage
β’ No previous work experience required
β’ Computer literacy is essential
β’ Good communication skills
β’ Understanding and application of Batho Pele Principles
β’ Ability to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
The following will serve as added advantages:
β’ Knowledge of Patient Administration and Billing Systems
β’ Previous EPWP experience
β’ Experience working in healthcare administration environments

π KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Successful candidates will be responsible for performing administrative duties within Patient Affairs, including:
β’ Registration and admission of patients manually or electronically using SAP/HIS systems
β’ Classification of patients according to Uniform Patient Fee Schedule (UPFS)
β’ Completing and maintaining administrative documentation
β’ Billing patients and collecting payments
β’ Issuing receipts and balancing in-paying registers at the end of each shift
β’ Capturing patient data accurately to ensure quality information management
β’ Recording admissions and discharges correctly
β’ Ensuring availability of working materials and equipment
β’ Reporting damaged, lost, or malfunctioning equipment
β’ Assisting with stock ordering and stock management systems
β’ Compiling daily and monthly patient statistics
β’ Ensuring patient files are properly and completely compiled
