POSITION OVERVIEW
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the retail pharmacy front shop is properly stocked, organized, and functioning efficiently. The role also includes assisting with administrative duties and financial processes within the front shop area.
π MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The purpose of this role is to ensure the availability and adequacy of stock in the retail pharmacy front shop while maintaining excellent customer service standards and supporting the smooth running of the pharmacy retail section.
π KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The selected candidate will be expected to perform the following duties:
β’ Manage retail pharmacy stock
β’ Ensure shelves are fully stocked and products are available
β’ Monitor stock levels and assist with stock control processes
β’ Handle financial processes within the front shop
β’ Perform daily front shop administration duties
β’ Assist customers professionally and courteously
β’ Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front shop area
β’ Support customer service operations within the pharmacy environment
β’ Use retail software systems where required
β’ Work as part of the pharmacy and retail support team
π MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
β Grade 12 / Matric certificate
β Basic computer literacy skills
β Good communication skills
β Ability to work with customers professionally
β Understanding of customer service principles
β Ability to work in a retail environment
β ADVANTAGEOUS EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
The following will serve as an added advantage:
β’ Previous front shop experience in a retail pharmacy environment
β’ Knowledge of stock management processes
β’ Financial understanding and basic financial acumen
β’ Experience using Retail Software Systems such as UNISOLV
β’ Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
β’ Strong organizational and administration skills
