Job Overview:
Human Resource Clerks play a vital role in managing human resource functions within government departments. They are responsible for various HR services, including recruitment, remuneration, benefits administration, and HR management information system support.
Key Responsibilities:
PERSAL Services: Render all PERSAL services, including remuneration services and updating establishment details.
Recruitment and Selection: Provide recruitment, selection, and appointment services, including logistical arrangements for interviews.
Benefits Administration: Prepare and process service benefits, deal with termination of services, and manage leave. HR Management Information
System (HRMIS): Provide support for HRMIS/PERSAL and ensure data accuracy.
Logistic Support: Coordinate Performance Management and Development System (PMDS) and handle logistics for candidate interviews.
Housekeeping and Maintenance: Pack and store ward linen, monitor and clean ward kitchenette, and ensure routine maintenance of equipment.
Requirements:
- Without any experience, National Senior Certificate / NQF Level 4.
- Knowledge of the PERSAL system will be an added advantage.
- Understanding of Batho-Pele Principles. proficiency with computers.
- Knowledge of procedures related to specific working environments,
- HR policies, procedures, and prescripts.
