Responsibilities and Duties
Completes tasks in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Quickly implements Kaizen Perform material handling tasks like manual lifting, packing, taping, labeling, and sorting.
Move materials with a forklift and bin system. Report any shortages or defective materials to the team leader.
Maintain a clean and organized work area and all equipment.
Follow and abide by all safety regulations. Follow team leader instructions.
Disassemble pallets and emballages for recycling.
Comply with company policies and legal requirements.
Examine equipment to ascertain whether repairs are necessary, and ensure safety by carrying out routine maintenance.
Unload goods and materials from arriving cars and arrange them in designated areas.
Experience:
• Exposure to an assembly plant
Job Requirements:
• Possessing valid forklift licences;
• Computer literate;
• Possessing good verbal and written communication skills;
• Effective mathematical capabilities;
• Basic visualisation and observation skills;
• Tool handling abilities;
Minimum qualifications
Grade 12
Minimum with Math Component
Manufacturing or Logistics Learnership Any Other Learnership or
Qualification Associated with the Auto Industry
